For lash technician Ashley, having a professional space of her own was the key to launching Ashley Claire’s Beauty Lounge and growing her beauty business from home. With the help of Room To Move, she transformed a portable room into a stylish and functional lash studio—right in her own driveway!
Starting her business from home was always the goal, but finding the right space was a challenge. “I was looking for a place to rent because I didn’t have room inside the house. Rather than renting somewhere else, this was a more convenient option for me because it’s at home.”
When searching for the perfect setup, practicality was the top priority. “It had to fit in the front of our place. When we found this room, the measurements worked really well to have it in the driveway, so the sizing was the main thing.”
Since opening, the response from clients has been overwhelmingly positive. “It’s been good. Every time a new customer comes in, they absolutely love the room. They love the setup. They love it. I love it. Every time I come in here, I get excited.”
For Ashley, having her own space has brought not just convenience, but also a sense of professionalism and confidence in her work. “I’ve got everything set up exactly how it should be. I love getting up, coming in here, turning the air con on, and a few minutes later, I’m ready to go.”
